Lahore Bleeds again

26 people, including police men killed, and 58 injured in a suicide blast close to Arfa Karim IT Tower, Farozepur Road, Lahore on Monday afternoon. This sad incident took place Lahore Development Authority(LDA) was conducting an operation against encroachments  in old vegetable market in the Kot Lakhpat_neighborhood in Lahore.

           This area is busy spot, and is office of Punjab Chief Minister is situated nearby. A suicide bomb attacker was on motorcycle he blast himself there close to police men who were for the protection  and assistance of LDA. It seems that police was the target. Sources confirmed that nine policemen were killed in the attack. The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has taken the responsibility. 

        Rescue teams transferred injured persons to nearby hospitals. It is being argued that this might be reaction of Pak Army's recent operation named Operation Khyber 4. Law enforcement agencies came on the site of incident and emergency has been declared. Forensic teams also collected samples from the site of incident for determing the nature of the blast.
